honestly I believe in a few months you are going to hear people express amazement and envy that you were able to buy it at $0.12.

someone else mentione dexit strategy. I have to admit I am not the best at it. However my plan is to sell enough to make back 1/4 my initial investment around $0.25 another 1/4 of my initial investment at $0.50 and the rest of my initial investment at $1 (unless I see a serious run taking place and then I might hold off selling at $0.25)

After I get my initial investment back I am going buffet style, which is not selling as long as the company remains profitable. There simply is no reason to unload free shares as long as the company is doing well and you don't need the money *in my opinion)

I phase my sells because I am not very good at choosing the best time to sell so I spread it out, plus I believe this stock could see some phenomonal growth and I don't want to be short changed much. Although one must also keep an eye on dilution and compare that to its revenues so my sell points are not exactly fixed in stone. Just my targets for now.

once bitten and twice shy I can understand. I think everyone who trades has gotten burned somewhere at some time. not necessarily to the same degree.

The important thing to remember is to control your emotions. Fear and Greed are what drive the stock market. Greed makes it go up, fear makes it go down. Manipulators use tools to affect a reaction in one of those emotions to get the heard to move in one direction or the other.

The first step is to control your emotions and recognize when you are being manipulated. Once you have mastered your own emotions then you can try and recognize the emotions of everyone else (the herd). Do that and you can get ahead of the game.

Invest with your head, not your heart. If you find yourself reacting emotionally (either one) step away from the computer and calm yourself down, and think long and hard. Emotions usually lead to mistakes.

Freebird

You are talking about two different kinds of stocks. Onev files with the SEC. My guess is the pinky you invested in and lost was not a company that filed with the SEC.

After learning the hard way I stay away from any company that doesn't keep their company in compliance with the SEC.
