The BMRD Group is an interesting "partner" for e.Digital. It seems to be a very small manufacturer's rep operation run out of the owner's condo. It's so insignificant that I'm surprised that e.Digital listed them on the web site as a "partner." They rep for very few manufacturers.
BMRD shows the Ody as being out of stock until February 2004: http://www.bmrd.com/html/catalog.html Perhaps this will become a permanent "out of stock" situation unless e.Digital supplies him with refurbished units to sell.
That reseller is offering Odyssey 1000 units for purchase at $300 on eBay. Therefore, he must be getting them from BMRD for much less and BMRD must be getting them for even less. American TechPushers has had 3 auctions on eBay for Ody units, 2 of which rsulted in sales:
