AK, Most of the malls and grocery stores have signs like that today here in NC. ie. "Reserved for expectant mothers", or Reserved for "Mothers with small children". They are there for these people as a matter of common courtesy; and not legally enforceable.
It's too bad that grumpy old people can't figure that out. I guess the age of chivalry is in fact dead.
