Gary, write (or e-mail) the local newspaper, radio or television station. They need to do 'human interest' stories. In this case a T.V. station might be the most effective venue. You know what they say about a picture being worth a thousand words. Stores don't want that kind of news coverage, so just seeing the T.V. crew is likely to get results. Good luck.

I've noticed that as well, Big Guy...

But from another perspective. It always annoyed the hell out of me when I noticed shopping carts in the A&P parking lot left by the handicapped spaces. If I see one there, I take it into the store to use in a feeble attempt to clear the area.

It finally dawned on me that the reason the carts are left there is because the folks who use those spaces can't walk any farther than they absolutely have to... otherwise... they wouldn't be parking there.

I too wonder why the cart returns aren't closer to the handicap spaces.

Hmmm... maybe I should join your crusade and see what can be done about the east coast side of the problem.
