Not sure I am with you or understand your point regarding the brokers restricting as a indication of pending halt. I think I can go back to about 15 that were being restricted by either Atrade, scottrade or others. Sometimes individually and sometimes in unison. None were halted. Now this recent 25 or 35 that were halted for 10 days I am assuming you are not even including those. I am curious ..myabe you could PM but I think the halt thing here is being way overblown..not sure if eveyone just wants to get their " I warned you " out there but in the case you just referenced I know for sure the stocks I am talking about be restricted by scottrade. not one was halted..
I don't really think online restriction is the precursor for a possible halt. I see so many symbols w/ online restrictions. The bottom line is don't get greedy. Take some profit. Check out all the links...DTC etc.
