In Internet Explorer go to your Tools menu and then click Internet Options and then under Browsing History click Settings, and then View Files.

There should be a file called Cookie:[e-mail]/

The Expires date should be roughly 5 years in the future. The Last Modified should be a while ago (if everything is okay). The Last Accessed should be when your current session was created (a new session gets created if you've been inactive for an hour or more).

Do they look okay?

Is the file (the cookie) missing when you're dropped off the site?

Have you tried deleting the file (the cookie) and seeing if it gets recreated properly?
