lol, it's a pretty long story, and I haven't followed all of it.
i need a joe lanza primer.
I first encountered the Lanzas back in 1998 or 1999, when OMOG had a ticker I can't at the moment remember. At that time, the idea was for Joe's wife Jayne to make tons of money publishing a glossy magazine for women. She actually did produce the magazine, and apparently it was okay. But she stiffed the contract employees while living in grand style, and there were a lot of other problems.
Meanwhile, Joe went to prison (I think for tax evasion, though he's been up on criminal charges on other occasions) and he and Jayne got divorced. Probably that was just for asset protection; they seem still to be together, though I haven't been reading along for several years.
Suddenly Jayne announced that the "company" had bought some oil leases in Texas. This was at least two years ago. She changed the company name to OMDA. I think we can assume that what Jayne knows about oil leases can be inscribed on the head of a pin. But for awhile there was a nice pump.
I really don't know what's going on now, but whatever it is, I shouldn't think it'll turn out well for shareholders. See if you can find the Silicon Investor thread; there were (and probably still are) quite a few bashers who were pretty knowlegeable.
