NM, what has kept PPHM alive all these years? Private placements that were quickly resold to the market to folks like us. One that has been accumulating shares over these last few years might reasonably claim that they were a part of keeping PPHM afloat without their needing to run up debt.
There is something different now. The more recent placements were made without any issue of warrants and all but a few hundred thousand warrants were exercised or timed out. Also, a party for a more recent private placement(Zimmer) has become the second largest institutional holder. They didn't resell to retail many of their private placement shares. Also, over the last six to nine months, Institutional ownership has gone up about about 15 million shares to 23 million and short interest about ten million shares to 13 million. So, PPHM says they don't expect to need another private placement to take of the $30 million needed to support their next round of trials? Interesting dynamics.
What will the institutional and short interest balance look like in a couple months when the next round of disclosure is posted through March 31 is posted? Directional movement should be less foggy to retail investors then. Reporting of institutional holdings through today (March 31) should give enough data to show a trend. Reporting of I insterest as of June 30 and reported in August/Sept places the timeline past when PPHM is due to start their next round of trials and report on India trial results.
Best wishes and IMO.
