Love your poem... I especially like to hear that "hope" actually is a strategy. Not being among the saved or putting much stock in the comforting group of superstitions that you posted I am left with actually having to look at financial underpinnings and management effectiveness in evaluating stock purchases. Ah well.. fool me once etc.
I do have other penny trash plays in my portfolio. I'm not averse to taking a risk here and there. I'm merely pointing out the obvious.
But while we're quoting literature:
