The reworked wells will be like Hemi's "beer money". They are a no brainer because it is so cheap to get them up and running. Even though they may only produce 3-5 and sometimes maybe even 7 bopd at a cost of just a few thousand to put online means a ROI of as little as a couple weeks to maybe around a month. There aren't many business models out there that can make this kind of claim!
And, like I mentioned above, with Hemi's up and coming aggressive well drilling program for 2007, these reworked wells will eventually be just like extra spending money... beer money I like to call it!
Back in the day if an average/good new well came in at 35 to 40 bopd then chances are with today's techniques we could see 50 or even more bopd (and more drilling a little deeper possibly). Even though these wells cost 10 times the amount to "get up and running" as compared to reworking an old well, they produce 10 times the oil! The ROI is equally as good.
Just wanted to point out that Hemi's future plan goes far and above 3-5 bopd wells.
As for the website... I've seen better and I've seen worse but do agree it could use an update when time allows :)
