Brywin35, I am going to break one of my rules and preach. In my almsot 15 years of trading OTC stock I have seen some very interesting things including many, many scams. One scam INVT I turned at 4500 investment into a 114000 dollar profit. Did people know it was a scam? Nope. Did the company have a good story? You bet it did, Fibre Optics in late 1999-2000.
It's very hard to find real compaines out here but they are here IMO.
Today's market 95% of the companies are trades, meaning take a position and watch for the move out for the dump. Hopefully you buy them right and you don't have to average down.
I am not one who likes to sell anything at a loss so that means I might be a bag holder for some companies. I had one just recently that I made a bad buy on in March of 2006. I averaged down in the summer and it still went lower. I liked the company so I stuck with it. I averaged down again after it fell all the way for .027 to .003. I got my average down to .01. This past feb it ran from .0045 to .046 in two days. When it was all said an done I made 30K on that bad trade. Does it happen all the time? Obviously not, but my risk is lowered by learning all I can about a company before I take a position.
I started buying BZTG in May of 2006 and have a very nice position, almost 2 million shares. I bought from .024 my last purchase all the way down to .012. I intended to play this no differently than any other OTC or pinkie. Run up, sell into the run and goodbye. If I had done that I would have netted about 50K on this trade selling it .04 not bad. In February through more DD I found out somethings about this company that excited the heck out of me and changed my view to long term here. If you check back to earlier posts before this moved, you will see I infact stated this. Today I feel even more stronger about this company than ever before. I can also tell you I know about 10 others who own 70% of the remaining O/S and it's posted on the DTC sheets in the Ibox. When I see the power that owns this and can put my hands on their product with verification from outsiders (people who don't own this stock) i can see in my mind just how much potential is here. Therefore I will state again for all to hear, I AM IN THIS STOCK FOR THE LONG HAUL![/B]
Nothing is for sure including whether this stock makes it or not but the reward for outweighs the risk for me.
