Well.. of course you cannot be friends with a company - Pedro's mistake was thinking he was addressing you on a personal level, rather than as a shareholder.
The idea that he should communicate with all shareholders at the same level is obviously not possible.

My relationship with MT has without a doubt influenced my decision here. As a trader, I would have to agree that friendship can cloud your judgemnt. As a person who values relationship more than money, integrity prohibits me from violating a trust, even if I myself have been violated.
i.e. My friend is my friend, whether he stands or whether he falls. There is always another stock deal. Friendships are a much more rare commodity.
