neo - great article

Interesting that these researchers are trying to improve on a compound that inhibits transcription in E. coli. Sounds like they've got more work to do, and still the medical community is excited.

Dr. Chen's ssDNA molecule has already achieved a 100% knockout of the gene necessary for bacterial replication. His paper will be published soon in Biochemistry the prestigious journal of the American Chemical Society.

I'm looking forward to the world learning about Chen's breakthrough.

Neo:

Nice find. Perhaps an email to the author at Health & Medicine Week / NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net about the research at CYGX might be in order. Just thinking out loud.

Ok, so are you telling us we should be investing in Cumbre, Inc., because of their CBR703? How is this related to CYGX?

I'm starting to wonder just how many more years I have to sit with my money in the CYGX parking lot. I constantly see rosy science related posts, but nothing about when my money is going to get out of the parking lot and head for the bank....so to speak.

I am a patient person. But, my patience does have limits.

Seems with all the solid science going on that some revenue producing development should be coming along pretty damn quick, or at least have a timeline for it, from CYGX, not just one of their faithful posters speculating here. I guess I'm asking, where's the cash? Of course I know that no one here can answer that, er, with the exception of maybe Mr. skooby that is.

CYGX needs to put out some info along these lines IMO.
