Scion, clearly you do not read or only interpret what you desire from what you read. Clearly, you are attempting to minimize shareholder intimidation by referring to it solely as individuals posting my dog's name...clearly, you have little knowledge or respect for privacy laws, to include the unlawful acquisition of credit information, threatening telephone calls and threatening emails, as well as harassing posts.
And, clearly, you see the entire issue as ME holding an interest in a company you don't like and therefore, rationalize the actions of intimidation to be acceptable.
And, clearly, it is not, as there are laws not only for shareholder intimidation, but for violation of privacy, defamation, libel and harassment.
As a "journalist" you may wish to review the caselaws regarding the publication of private fact into public forum and whether or not the information is "newsworthy."
Congress has long upheld the internet standard for privacy is the same as that for a newspaper.
I suggest you review this or perhaps contact johndoe.org and ask them their opinion.
