Well alpacapower, It's going to be really interesting what goes on at this convention. It's hard not to agree with you on the points you brought up. It was a complete nonsense press release that sidestepped, once again, the only real issue any of us care about right now...SALES. They don't have them, and yet they still seem to come up with money to buy booths at major conventions. Maybe this will all be money well spent. I don't know when we'll realize it. I'm not optimistic that their production/distribution capabilities are anywhere near where they should be. They're pushing a product they still can't deliver. I know things move slow in business, but this company has been around too long to still be dealing with the issues they're dealing with.
Maybe they'll prove us all wrong and bust out some good news at convention time. Supposedly, the Russian deal is a go, with a letter of intent in hand...I can't let myself believe it at this point.

I agree with alot of what you said alpacapower. The ISP for this device MUST be about $10/month or sales will dramatically fall off. IMO this new MP3 player version will be the big deal. we'll have to see. As for sales, I'm hoping they get a deal with like the Kremlin to supply about 200,000 units to every governmental operative in the field. HAHAHA. We'd all get rich.
One thing I'm not clear on is: is there a larger demand for this product that EGIL cannot currently supply? That, of course, is ridiculous and unacceptable.
I believe the future of this product is the MP3 version because I think in the future 60% of the market will be entertainment and only 40% business but of course you can do both.
