Would you consider giving users a "Previous 50 Next 50" type option for reviewing private messages?

I've been reading private messages I've exchanged with a thoughtful person, going back several years. I used advanced search to access all messages to/from this poster. The system just reports the 50 most recent messages and provides no way to reach earlier messages. I've selected "500 messages per category in mailbox", but it does not help with this situation.

I suspect the option would need to be available for searches as well as for private messages.

I am trying to search PMs in my archive and the only choices are to\from people I have membermarked. Any way of having a choice of either TO or FROM and not a combined list that shows up. The problem that I encountered is that if you search a day for PMs to\from an individual, it starts with the latest PM that day & works its way back to the earliest...if you had more than 50 exchanges to & from an iHubber there is no way to access the earliest exchanges beyond # 50 that day especially if there is no distinct word to search for.
