We have a large investor here who has deeper experience in terms of talking to Durrant about Compassionate Use. I have no doubt that Durrant will do everything he can for your colleague. I understand the importance of speed and will follow-up if a pathway isn't opened up for you today. Please advise.
I suggest contacting Durrant and requesting it. He was ready and happy to give me compassionate use when I was to get CAR-T therapy. However, my oncologist did not want to jump through his own organization's hoops for permission, since they had their own trial using a different drug focused on dampening IL-6 to control the cytokine storm. I wasn't real happy with that decision since Lenz had success already with a CAR-T trial. Durrant and I emailed a couple of times back then. That would have been early in 2023.
