Market makers are keeping the PPS low and in check only because they are stacking the bid trying to load, this is only done when they think a run will be coming.
I'm not aware of your positioning or basis here, but that sentence is repeated by newbie underwater-retail bagholders all over ihub, twitter & discord.
It sounds like you haven't worked in publicly-traded markets, and/or haven't worked with or been in direct contact with market-makers, or have not listened to them on podcasts, etc.
Typical price-action following R/S: crater, re-base for a while, then anything can happen.
