That’s kind of the point though lol.
A defunct company name does NOT mean the branding, corporate structure, shell, IP, or naming rights can never be revived, acquired, or reused.
This happens all the time in finance:
- old banks- brokerages- mining companies- shell companies- investment firms
Companies acquire dormant entities or revive legacy names because they carry recognition and credibility.
The real question isn’t:“Does the old Wertheim still physically operate?”
The question is:“Who owns the rights, structure, or ability to use/revive the name today?”
Big difference.
And considering TWOH is literally restructuring into an AI/merchant banking style direction… people are obviously going to connect dots when names like that start surfacing.
