The Promo Badge does not just go away... There is a record of it that MM's and regulators see with a feature that is called the "OTC Markets Compliance Analytics Portal" (also referred to by regulators and MMs as the Issuer Activity Log), which includes a Promo Badge History view that is not visible to the public.
This internal tool lets regulators, broker-dealers, and market makers see every historical promotion flag, including timestamps, triggering sources, and whether OTCM classified it as Issuer-Involved or Third-Party.
So... NO, it doesn't go away, and is STILL there.
