The SEC will keep comment letters and responses off Edgar for a while, but if they perceive foot-dragging or deliberate non-compliance, they'll post everything. They use that as leverage. That happened to Mexus when their CEO decided that he'd ignore the comment letters for the 2nd or 3rd times. All the correspondence got posted, which was amusing.
