So my thoughts on " sell the news " FWIW.
Biotechs almost always raise funds in the days immediately following a positive announcement ...great trial data , approval etc .
So the natural inclination is to sell the day of the news ...and buy back after the capital raise .
The difference here with UNCY is that we know in advance the Co will be raising $25m in the first 15 days following FDA approval ..by the first tranche of warrants being exercised .
So one can make the case that " sell the news " is being priced in or will be priced in, before the day of approval.
What would tank the stock is if they did a capital raise in addition to having the warrants exercised.
On the day of FDA approval I'l watch to see how UNCY closes .
If it rallies hard on opening but closes lower on heavy volume ( Ala AMRN Dec 2019 ) I'll probably sell half just before the close .
This open up but close lower on heavy volume on a major news day , is in my experience a technical signal not to be ignored ...and trumps any fundamental analysis I may be using to stay long .
Regarding BO
No one is buying UNCY until after FDA approval , terms for stocking and distribution in Fresenius and Da Vita clinics is known and Co's TDAPA application has been accepted
