"It's the "Iranians" that want to get rid of the present regime."

No doubt. As would the Russians in their nation. As would the North Koreans. As would the Chinese. As would the Afghans. As would the Palestinians and many, many others.

What is your point? Are young American men and women supposed to attack those nations as well?

I haven't bought a "narrative". I'm telling you what is. trump picked a fight with a hardened and sophisticated fighting force, one with troop numbers approaching one million. They're dug in. They have home field advantage. And they've been spoiling for this fight for decades. Have you looked at the terrain in Iran? It's a fortress built by nature, impregnable mountains and deserts where temperatures reach 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Have you contemplated the cost in American blood of an actual assault on that natural fortress?

We are spending more than $1 billion a day. Our stockpiles of weapons are severely depleted... They're far below what we would need to actually defend our country. He has managed to do absolutely nothing to dislodge the Iranian regime.

On top of that the Iranians now know they can topple the world's economy and devastate their Gulf adversaries... not something they were sure they could do, and a card they would not have played, had trump not basically made the decision for them. Don't even get me started on the implications for the primacy of the US Dollar, and what that means for the $40 trillion US national debt. What cards are trump's undead son-in-law and real estate mogul buddy holding, that you feel they can demand anything at all?

But go on... Tell me about the "narrative" that I've bought, dear.

NEWS: U.S. bases got absolutely DESTROYED and the administration HID IT! A stunning new report reveals that Iran’s retaliatory strikes caused far more damage to U.S. military bases across the Middle East than the Trump administration has publicly acknowledged.

According to multiple government sources, Iran hit more than 100 targets across 11 bases in seven countries following Operation Epic Fury. The damage spans key U.S. installations in Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia—and could cost billions to repair.

We’re talking about direct hits on command centers, runways, satellite communications systems, advanced radar, and aircraft. In one alarming breach, an Iranian F-5 fighter jet successfully bombed Camp Buehring in Kuwait—penetrating U.S. air defenses. The U.S. Navy’s regional headquarters in Bahrain was also heavily damaged, and a runway at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar was completely destroyed.

Officials say the strikes wiped out at least one fighter jet, over a dozen MQ-9 Reaper drones, and other critical equipment.

The scale of this destruction raises serious questions: Why hasn’t the full extent been disclosed to the American public—and what does this mean for U.S. readiness in the region?

Tell the American people the truth, Donald!!!

Precisely, nothing more powerful than the will of the people and the only reason Iran is able to stand on its two feet is China, North Korea and the Russians. That poster you are replying to never lived in Iran and doesn't know how Iranian can turn against their own Government on a dime. If I was Reza and if I were given the opportunity to return by the will of the people, I will demolish all the Mosques in Iran. My daughter who is only 20 years old and majoring in history knows more about Iran than that poster. She actually likes his father much better than Reza.
