I think emissions is the reason against gas (and about $2 per liter or about $8/gallon). Green hydrogen cost is in the range of $5 to $15 per kg. Since were talking cars, I agree batteries might be easier, but there is a Clean Hydrogen Infrastructure Fund that's probably kicking in some cash.
