ASAP as in yesterday.

The Vitol representative so much as said that FID would have happened by now back in February if not for the pipeline issue. And if that were the case, they probably would have RM'd by now.

So, this puppy (FID) will launch immediately after a clean or semi clean PHMSA report, which as Mr C indicated is most likely being expedited as we speak.

You now have beaucoup money and guarantees being thrown at their feet by the US EXIM Bank as well as potentially from South Korea's government indicated in the article provided by Senior C this morning.

Pretty easy call in my book.

I wouldn’t trust some translated AI article in Korea and that’s not typical for an FLNG unit today. It’s usually under that and closer to 3-4.

They do have until 2031 though

5 years to me sounds like the time it would take to have all three vessels built and in operation. Everything I've seen says about 3 years +/- a few months. At some point, there will be construction going on on all three at the same time, just in different phases. The 3rd has potential to be built in a US shipyard according to the MASGA "agreement" (not even sure if that is still a valid agreement, just remember it being heavily hyped by SK).

(Mr. C quotes Delfin at 4 years, I'm hope it's quicker than that)
