#2973 RE: Fred Kadiddlehopper #2972

Thx Fred . Reading up on Shilpa ( their manufacturer ) I found they get a $10m payment from UNCY once OLC is approved and launched .
Their contract states they must be able to supply ( not sure how much ) OLC on June 30th , if approved.
So Shilpa will definitely be motivated to keep things on track .
Whether the Indian govt gets involved is something else as theres a severe shortage of propane in the areas Shilpa has manufacturing plants ...and govt has mandated as much propane as possible be diverted to house hold use in those areas.

The risk of a delay obviously is that expected approval gets pushed back and they miss the July TDAPA cut off date ...so burn thru another $3-$4 m .
JMO ..interesting to find the $10m payment to Shilpa on approval and launch ...I'll try and copy and paste it

Yes, Shilpa Medicare Ltd. is reportedly eligible for a $10 million milestone payment from its partner Unicycive Therapeutics (UNCY) related to the filing, approval, and launch of Oxylanthanum Carbonate (OLC).

Key Agreement Details
Milestone Payment: Shilpa Medicare (SML) is expected to receive $10 million in milestone income distributed across the regulatory filing, approval, and eventual product launch of OLC.
Manufacturing Partnership: Shilpa provides end-to-end CDMO services for OLC, including APIs and finished dosage forms.
Commercial Supply: A long-term agreement is in place for Shilpa to meet all commercial requirements for OLC starting in the 2025–26 fiscal year.
Additional Funding: Unicycive is also funding the establishment of a new dedicated manufacturing block at Shilpa's Raichur facility to handle increased demand.

So they are motivated to keep on track
