#40097 RE: AhhWilderness #40096

Susan Bala's PR skills are in display. My only regret is that she has been promoting her Phoenix Global Technology company exclusively....and not Total Multimedia (TMMI). Or did I miss something? What would happen to our public company, TMMI, if her Phoenix Global Technology private company goes on and does well? But I am interested in the 'gaming audit software' software that she mentions below. Is this TMMI's approach to the Brazilian lottery business leading to Brazilian gaming market regulation?

Susan Bala, founder and chief executive of Phoenix Global Technology, presented global examples to bolster the case for regulation. She pointed to the Philippines and Las Vegas as examples where the regulation of gaming produced tremendous social and fiscal benefits. She said that with gaming audit software, tax revenues in the Philippines went from $3 million a month to $90 million a month within two years.

Bala also underlined that Brazil is already the world’s third-largest online betting market, projected to move BRL 350 billion by 2030. “Betting is here to stay“, she said. “The question is what we will do with it.” Her remarks framed gaming regulation as a question of governance rather than morality, one that could unlock billions in investments and thousands of new jobs.
