There is a very good chance the clients of KBLB will take advantage of the NatGeo article to ride the wave of exposure. It would make for a nice gorilla marketing campaign for not much effort or relative cost. This would be a great marketing opportunity to announce any new, ground-breaking product/s. Even if it's a few months out, or more, from release.
Looking forward to the next few steps of KBLB…and possibly any of the ones who receive KBLB Spider Silk. Should be very interesting.
I'm wondering if this will give them the greenlight to announce partner names with the delivery. We will know very soon.
I share in your desire for them to confirm our bias. But I think they have to make product and put it through a test phase, beyond the obvious niceties. If it is me, I see what I have created out of the new fiber/thread/fabric, and see how it performs, so I know how to market it. I don't announce my interest until I am ready to go, and know what to say. I don't want anyone competing with me for fiber, or knowing I am interested.
I'm just taking the opposite side or view of what I want to see happen. Obviously I'll take it, if they are willing, but I just don't see it happening that way.
This said, I would love to see reputable 3rd party opinion talking up Spider/Super silk, preparing the world for this incredible bio-material....I am preparing to (potentially) market.
