Eli, You may know, has any Diehard before had a winner on bench for all four days? Or have i LOL created history.
Had Gotterup on bench Rd 1 a bummer as he flew, others close so left him there for Rd 2. That worked, he scored worse that any of the playing four. At that stage the strategy became, ok, might miss some fedex points but maybe leave the two on the bench for another event. After Rd 3 thought, hmm, still unlikely Gotterup or Knapp will win so stick with the strategy. Then Gotterup sprouted wings again and the, lol, daring strategy proved a total bummer.
Just for fun want to know if any Diehard has ever had a winner on the bench for an entire event before. ;-) Or actually has any Diehard had the winner of an event on the bench, period.
