FIVN its software in general
There may be specific issues around this one, but in general there is a moronic notion that software is going to be eaten by AI because it will all be vibe coded.
This shows profound ignorance, but its the current narrative. Some of these are still pretty pricey IMO so some of this is also valuations coming down out of the stratosphere.
My take is that for established players AI is a benefit. Its ultimately a productivity tool for engineers not a replacement. In my personal experience I can do the work of 2 scrum teams doing this part time so in effect I'm doing the work of a team of about 20 people. That will allow entrenched players to iterate faster and cheaper to build bigger moats.
No reason to catch falling knives, but I expect massive opportunities in this space unless there is some radical step change in AI technology.
