Oh they did support free trade.....Dems voted against nafta under bush and stopped it......They came clinton who needed a political win he pushed it and then went on to give China favor nation status....
Obama tried to push through the biggest free trade ever.....And of course all the dem talking points about how much better things would be without industry...
I don't think the fully understood the sucking sound Perot warned of,,,,,but then they learned not to care.....They all have lived in a bubble all their life ..
Tariffs worked historically, perhaps if someone other than trump wielded them properly we could regain some balance...
But here to say in no uncertain terms, all this will not end well....It's out of control and tribalism will run its course..
Sorry you took a loss,,,,,,,,but I feel more for the rest that have lost much more
