Okay, let’s start with the share structure. While the number of outstanding shares is over 22 billion, over 13 billion of that, or about 59% of those shares are Restricted. Doesn’t mean they can’t become Unrestricted in the future, but most of those Restricted shares were just added last October. Usually it’s 6-12 months minimum before they would be free to trade.
The actual float is just over 9.1 billion shares. While that’s a lot, it’s not nearly as bad as if the entire OS was unrestricted to trade. More importantly to me, is where those shares came from back in October, which I’ll address when I get home in an hour or so. Had unexpected errands this morning.
