yeah i read about that last year that almost all of the flowers bought for Valentine's day come from Columbia, that's an amazing logistics network. They fly them into Miami and from there get trucked or flown to all points in USA.
And speaking of Trucking... Pretty overlooked industry on this board. I think things are shaping up for trucking due to Trump's crackdown on foreign truckers behind the wheel in the US. You really have to watch yourself on the road these days because those truck drivers often can't read or write english. If your in the rocky mountains of the appalachians coming down a mountain, be especially wary and keep on eye on the rearview mirror. But Trump has cracked down on these guys and they are testing drivers for english proficiency. This is taking divers off the road, but not permanently, some are just put what's called out of service until they can pass a proficiency test or whoever is at the weigh station lets them go(shift change and too many trucks parked at the weigh station). But the other hammer is they are shutting down the easy grants of CDL's in states of NY and CA. Drivers are being taken off the road and that tightens capacity and this has lead to a firming in rates. Volumes are still low though.

So how to play this-$RRTS Roadrunner Transport, Elliot Management-PE firm-acquired majority 4 years ago I think and then went dark or nonreporting so no financials to go on. But they do a lot of press releases and they seem to be doing well. They have good tech and for logistics that's crucial. Ownership also changed hands recenlty with an outfit called Prospero Capital getting most of Elliot management's stake. If Prospero looks to take them public again, we're looking at a big multibagger. If not the stock is pretty depressed after a big run in the first q of last year. They're an LTL carrier with team drivers.

The other one is $PAMT, team drivers again. big exposure to auto industry. If you look araound at a lot of the trucking and logistics companies, they have had some pretty good breakout moves since October, look at etfs XTN and IYT. Could be on the cusp of a sustained bull run here and that's why I think Prospero might have a good opportunity to bring RRTS fully reporting again and do an offering to unload their stake at a much higher price.
