You can’t say “technically a split doesn’t change value” and then in the same breath claim “100% of the time value is destroyed.”

If you actually want to talk about certainty here's your reality...
If I do nothing there is a 100% chance nothing changes.
If I do something the outcome is guaranteed to be different... for better or worse.
