Krtek, your point is broadly consistent with the current administration's national security policy. Anyone who is interested in understanding the framework for this administration's behavior should read this document.

I found it refreshingly apolitical.

If you just want to be convinced that LNG exports are part of the US national security plan, just skip to the very last sentence of the report.

Foreign investment in Delfin is absolutely NOT an Achilles heel. The investment is literally a core requirement for worldwide, corporate ESG compliance. BlackRock will not fund KIND if KIND doesn't specifically follow ESG, mainly climate and energy regulations. The USA doesn't buy LNG, we use NG. It's an expected and very common sense approach for foreign nations to invest in the energy infrastructure they are increasingly being required to use in order to continue receiving the very support they need to remain compliant.
