That is the way I'll go if I ever have to do it again. I have a heat pump now but it is set up like a furnace system with a main unit in the basement and ductwork under the upper floor.
I'm not sure how far I want to go with this place though. I'm still deciding where I want to land.
Back at my old house, the solar panels consistently made more power than I used every month. I had a gas furnace there but I probably would have switched if I stayed and avoided the big winter bills altogether.
