As you probably know, the way to use search engines is with different domains and search 'dorks' and commands that work to your advantage.
Such as .edu, .info, .forum, .net, etc etc etc. Because most engines always give .com automatically.

A dork could be to eliminate amazon from a .com search which would be -Amazon -- ex: spartacas sandals -Amazon. This should eliminate the hundreds of amazon returns google gives you in the first ten pages.

I would say a vast amount of users do not know how to use a search engine effectively much at all. But then again, the billionaire techbros don't want people to understand what they're doing in the first place with their products.

Nobody now or will be able to escape AI. It is here and has dominance, no matter how much one tries to battle it. It's a battle and war that one will lose. Assimilation will be the only option, whether it is forced or self controlled. Even as we use ways of "hiding" it from ourselves, it will still be there, using our animosity towards it for its benefit.

https://www.startpage.com/ might be a better bet. I haven't used Google directly (Google and other search engines come through to Startpage) for a long time, years, just as informed, find anything I want as fast as I want, as well as anyone else using Google or any other search engine. Also one can use the "udm=14" added to the search string with Google search.

- Add "udm=14" to your search string. It just adds an instruction on the end of the URL that tells Google you want web rather than AI results, but you'll feel like a hacker.
- Use https://udm14.com, which will always add the udm14 cheat code.
- Use StartPage https://www.startpage.com or TenBlueLinks https://tenbluelinks.org, which query Google without AI or tracking of any kind.
- Or.... try adding -ai to your search
