Starlink is into classical cell coverage . They have nothing to do with secure QKD quantum communications and sensing. Apples to Oranges comes to mind. Starlink is 2 years off their ipo anyway. They are at least 5 years behind IonQ. They have nothing in quantum patents like IonQ’s over 1,000 now and climbing even more with the acquisition of Skyloom Global. Plus, we have all the quantum brain trust with Oxford Ionics. Niccolo just lapped everyone. Including Jensen and Elon. He’s smarter than both of them put together. He has degrees from Cambridge in Banking MnA’s and quantum physics. The 2 Amigo’s ? Not so much. Watch and learn.

No doubt, Starlink will be involved. But I'm not sure Starlink will have all the capabilities necessary for the Golden Dome.

If IONQ can provide secure communications, that alone will be very important and lucrative.

Starlink may actually benefit from some of the new technology coming from IONQ.
