Well its going to depend on Health Care coverage in the respective countries .
The BIG plus for OLC in the US is paradoxically the dialysis bundle ...at least initially .
This mandates 100% coverage for at least the first 2 yrs and requires the MD to dispense directly to the patient .
So in the past as a dialysis patient you had your pho binders that you hated . But they were generic and you really didn't talk to your MD about them unless there was a problem. They were mailed to you or you picked them up at the pharmacy .
NOW ...they are handed to you in the dialysis clinic .
So you have OLC that 100% covered (early in 2027 ) and its 100% covered by Medicare .
So your MD has to hand you the pho med in the clinic .
Which do you want ?
The one small pill with each meal that can be swallowed
Or the 2-3 large pills swallowed with each meal or the 1 or 2 that need to be crushed and taken with apple sauce....each meal .
So I'm betting on fast uptake in the US .

In the UK / EU it's going to be a different process . OLC will be competing directly with the generics and there may be a significant co pay .
I haven't researched how it may play out in the EU /UK ...but will once they apply for approval there.
Same with Asia ...I dont know the landscape on competing with generics .

But in the US ...its dispensed to you by the MD right in the clinic .
