The high of the day was $48.78. IONQ closed at $47.18. Not really sure that qualifies as finishing well off the high for the day. So it bled off $1.60, about 3%, right at the close.
Then after hours it resumed climbing +$1.01 to $48.19, which seems positive.
It's possible that it may drop again next week. Maybe we see a nice PR or some positive news, and hopefully it keeps moving up.
