(OT) Hey, thanks for sharing that, RMB. That's an interesting bit of history that I hadn't known about him. Yes I knew Bernie passed. It was big news in these parts. He was a legend here in Philly and I met him twice, once as a kid in the Flyers' locker room after a game where he patiently stood in his boxer shorts and signed my goalie stick, and once more when I was a middle aged adult at a local fundraiser soire. After retiring from hockey he moved to the Jersey Shore and was often seen out and about, enjoying life with a smile. His retired number is permanently hung in the rafters here at the home barn. A true gentleman.
