I always forget about that lawsuit payment for some reason. No matter how you do the numbers, Max needs to sell 30-40 times the number of units in whatever combination they can come up with to have any hope of making a profit. That's at current cost numbers.
Somehow, magically, Max is gonna come up with a product and have it ready to sell by CES? This is beyond laughable! Like you said, the "change of heart" feels fake and empty. I'm pretty sure I know the motivation behind it, but I'm not sure how that poster thinks it's going to change anything.
