What a small world. I worked for Nortel then went to Cisco for a number of years. Towards the end of my career at Cisco I was in the M&A department dealing specifically with stocks of newly acquired companies. I worked in the building right next to the HQ building. Back then at least once a week when I pulled up to work I’d see Chinese tour buses full of Chinese tourists taking photos by the Cisco sign. It was both amusing and annoying to see the tourists.
I’m actually surprised that your cousin was able to buy a house for $350k in this area during 1999 timeframe. That was pretty much the timeframe my hubby and I tried to buy a house but we couldn’t keep up with the multiple offers and overbidding.
Why don't you guys get a room if you want to stroll down memory lane ! This is a (FNMA) stock board . Another thing you'll have in common will bag holders by the end of this year !
