LOL that's how i feel about those damn red lines too. To get rid of it, following the directions was ok until reaching 'click the three dots beside cortana, then "uninstall." OOPs, in there there is is advanced options, move and uninstall with only the advanced options being alive. That takes me to another page where there is an uninstall, but it is dead too.

I get fed up following directions which lead nowhere too quickly sometimes.

So now after reading

Yes, you can delete the Copilot app from Windows 11 through the Start Menu or Windows Settings, though for some users, especially those with certain business or Home editions, it may be more of a disabling or a more permanent removal process. You can uninstall the app by going to Settings > Apps > Installed apps, finding Copilot, clicking the three dots, and selecting "Uninstall". For a more permanent and complete removal, especially for users with Windows 11 Home, you may need to use PowerShell or make changes in the Registry Editor

i've decided to check with my computer guy as to the version i have. I'm expecting to be rid of it, so this is ... for now...

When i ask if i can delete CoPilot, as above, i get the same directions except they say find copilot in the app list and then copilot isn't there .. but cortana is .. hopeless ..

However, have learned more now thanks to you
