Thanks for digging out and posting the link to the (local) CBS news article about restaurants in the Ball Arena that explicitly includes mention of Illegal Burger.
The job-posting for 'IB' in the Ball Arena foreshadowed the now public announcement, but I felt there was always a slim chance that it could fall through, since there's been no true expansion of Illegal Burger itself for years. Instead, two Illegal Burgers have been converted to Mexican restaurants (not a bad thing), and one was completely closed and not reopened as anything owned by Nixon.
The CBS news article is also interesting as it actually names the vendors. The last time I tried to check, the Ball Arena itself deliberately did NOT name vendors, but only which types of food were served, and where they could be found.
