I'm terribly sorry to hear that. Yes, loosing a child is one of the most difficult grief anyone can bear. I'll be praying for you and your family.
May the God of all comfort, comfort you and your family as you walk through this valley of the shadow of death.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Please stay strong.

I’ve been posting like normal yesterday and today. But fuck. I’m just going to say it. My family lost a small child yesterday unexpectedly. Nothing that has or ever will happen with FnF will ever compare to the devastation I feel or the fact my bro/sis in law will never be the people they once were. I honestly couldn’t give less of a hoot about my portfolio or anything else today. Just some perspective for anyone overly worried about numbers on a screen out there.

I know words can NEVER do justice. My wife and I lost a son at 36 weeks. Try not to snap at the people that say "I know what you're going through" or try to help when you just want to be alone. Most really don't get that they can never know what you're going through and just want to help. If you need time alone, and I suspect you will, be honest with those people and tell them straight out you need to be alone. They'll get it. Take care of yourself and those near you. There are support groups for parents that lose children. We found it helped. You can decide if that might help you as well. It will get better but it never goes away. Take care.

Comfort in the Wake of Grief

“But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.” 2 Samual 12:23

The Hope of a Future Reunion: The comfort David found stemmed from his faith in an afterlife. His declaration, "I shall go to him," is a powerful statement of belief in a future state of existence where he would be reunited with his son. This hope allowed him to endure his present sorrow. This is not a denial of grief, but a placement of it within a broader, eternal perspective. This perspective allows hope to co-exist with sorrow, preventing grief from becoming a destructive, unending force.

In essence, David’s response provides a model for how faith can guide us through loss. It shows that while mourning is natural and necessary, it should not be an endless state. Instead, it can be tempered by a rational acceptance of reality and a hopeful faith in a future beyond this life.

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8

God bless you and your family.

I’m praying for you.

My family has had a death of a two year old sibling like this in my youth. It really hurt the family because we wouldn’t or couldn’t lift one another up

I pray for unity, grace, love and charity. Charity meaning giving benefit of doubt.

Definitely a recco

Yesterday, myself was in deep grief of the recent financial loss from F2, I am weak, for 18 years, enormous rollercoaster emotions from hope to fear to hope to fear drops tears in my heart, but compare to the loss of such precious young life, money becomes hollow. My prayers are with the parents and the families.

Life can bring about sudden changes overnight. And then you realize that money can't buy everything. Everyone here has experienced something similar in their own families and hopes only the best for you.
But we mustn't forget how many people lost their livelihoods in the 2008 stock market crash and the theft from Fannie and Freddie, and how many lost their lives as a result. Trump knows this, and unfortunately, the criminals from back then are only being held accountable.
Money cannot compensate for a human life. I wish you all the best as a family. 🙏
