Do you remember that document they released a few months ago? It was released before the end of last year.
I’m not sure how much of the information that was released last year is reliable because ‘you know who’ was still around until late December I have learned from other posters here that that man who was involved in selling the shell to the Qataris is alleged to have a dubious track record.
That’s why I was so pleased when he wrote his post on X in December saying he’d sold all his shares and he was gonna sue the directors for defamation if they said anything more about him. That was the sign he was gone. Him using language in a letter written to the company, saying he was threatening, legal action for things he alleges the company was saying about him. Him being gone raised my estimation of the company prospects considerably.
I’ve not compared the numbers in the original report with the numbers posted in the most recent quarterly filing. If you are interested, maybe you could look back at the documents and let us know. They are on otcmarkets.com.
The company has not hired a geologist at Balfour. The company has not updated any permits for exploration. Are they relying on old exploration permits? Without a geologist, how could they do any exploration? Have they done anything at all? Could there be something happening over there? Yes. But they could also be nothing at all going on. We just don’t know.
I think I just answered your question, by providing a larger list of my own questions. Sorry about that.
Maybe they’re in no rush with Balfour. Normally you would think that if somebody purchases an asset, they wanna polish it up and get it running. Who knows what the reason is.
When I saw Geoffrey summers name taken off the old website before that site went down and was replaced with the current one, I was speculating in here that they may have abandoned Balfour. Then we saw Balfor mentioned in all the filings in April and then the following court they were filing released a few months later. So in this space of a few months, my opinion shifted from assuming they had abandoned Balfour, to not having abandoned it.
In summary, I think it is most likely that it is just sitting there without much happening.
I could be wrong though!
