You are right. People can't get along and will steel anything. I have helped a lot of people in the past only to have been rippled off later.
The last place I worked for eleven years, all four different departments, people took credit for my reports and ideas on system improvements. These were not your local communications, but the systems that protected the country.
One person was briefing my work and the General started asking him questions. When he couldn't answer them, the General asked him if he did the work. The General ripped him a new one.😃😃
Then he started on me. I always makes extra Vu-graphs in case I have to review my findings and solution to the problem. The General should have stopped digging a hole and thanked me for my work.
It was an interesting job and you work with the dedicated people that do their job to protect our freedom.
