Years ago, a guy I knew said there's no reason for Connecticut to be part of the same country as Oklahoma.
In reality, we really aren't. Can you imagine hiring a young person from Oklahoma or Florida to work in a modern enterprise? An adult person who's unaware that amendments to a document are a revision to the document?
The Constitution without the amendments is not the Constitution. It's what the Constitution used to be.
