Researcher59, The market could still pullback more generally seasonally weakness can happen from like September to like mid to late October, we are getting near the end of September. todays moves essentially moved about 8-10% cash into stocks. I'm still 70% cash after today so lets not make it like I suddenly got bullish a few of my stocks hit my prices finally and I brought them. Remember even when I'm bearish, unless I'm absurdly bearish which I'm not right now, although I still am bearish tactically for the coming couple of weeks. I do think after that is generally a hard time to be bearish based on seasonal pattern for the next several months, now that doesn't mean we won't have issues in 2026, but that is a different story.
But getting back to me being bearish, it doesn't mean I won't buy stocks it just means I put bids maybe 5%-10% lower than where I normally would place them. And today was the first day things started falling to me where things on my list started hitting my entry points, it as simple as that. it has never been about solely I think market is gonna go down that is why I have such a high cash position, it was that I didn't see anything I wanted to buy until yesterday (admittingly a little more picky with price when I'm tactically bearish), and it really is as simple as that. All is just my opinion, and I could always wrong though.
